Meet Lucy

Lucy by Solenica is a solar-powered, wire-free sphere that reflects real sunlight indoors to illuminate spaces. Invented by Diva Tommei (PhD in Bioinformatics), Lucy uses a proprietary algorithm to track the sun and an articulated mirror to direct light to a fixed indoor point. It can light about 500 square feet and is designed to combat Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), improve focus, reduce stress, and help with sleep disorders. It requires no installation—just place it in a sunny spot and turn it on.
